Lucid Ops helps early-stage companies pick the right ERP, cut the noise around AI, and turn both into decisions your team can actually act on. Backed by 20 years of ERP transformation experience, including Deloitte and IBM.
Four ways we help small teams build an operating backbone that doesn't fall apart at the next stage.
We cut through vendor noise and match you to the ERP that fits your headcount, budget, and complexity today, not the one built for a company 5x your size.
Hands-on project management through go-live: data migration, workflow config, and training so your team adopts the system instead of working around it.
We identify where AI actually saves time in finance, ops, and reporting, and skip the projects that just look good in a board deck.
Ongoing, on-call guidance as you scale, so every new hire, process, or funding round doesn't mean rebuilding your systems from scratch.
The right systems question is different at each stage of funding, so we meet you where you are.
Spreadsheets are breaking. You need lightweight systems and just enough structure to look credible to your first real customers and hires, without overbuilding.
Headcount and revenue are growing fast. You need an ERP that can actually keep up, plus a clear-eyed view of where AI saves real hours, not headlines.
Investors and new leaders expect real reporting. We help you graduate your systems and processes without a disruptive, all-at-once overhaul.
The cost of the wrong ERP, or the right one implemented poorly, shows up every month. Getting it right early keeps that money in the business.
Figures are illustrative of typical early-stage engagements; actual results vary by company and starting point.
We audit your current tools, workflows, and data to understand what's actually slowing your team down, not just what looks broken on the surface.
You get a prioritized plan: which ERP or systems changes matter now, which AI use cases are worth pursuing, and what can wait.
We manage rollout end to end: configuration, data migration, and training, so adoption doesn't stall after the kickoff meeting.
Systems get revisited as you grow. We stay on as an advisor so your stack evolves with your next round, not against it.
Lucid Ops is led by Leandro Vera, who brings 20 years in ERP and technology-enabled business transformation, first at Deloitte Consulting and IBM Business Consulting Group, and later as an independent advisor to growing companies.
He has also lived the climb himself. As a co-founder of Swiftmile, a startup building charging infrastructure for micromobility, Leandro helped take the company from its first angel checks through a successful Series A and, ultimately, to a sale. He has sat in the founder's chair, made the same systems calls his clients face, and knows firsthand what it takes to build a company worth acquiring.
That range matters most at the early stages. Leandro has worked hands-on with the systems startups actually begin on, like QuickBooks and Odoo, and knows exactly how and when to grow into platforms like NetSuite, Sage, and Infor without a painful, premature migration.
The result is guidance grounded in both enterprise-grade consulting and real founder experience, sized for early-stage teams: practical, sequenced, and built to scale with you rather than around you.
Results from working with early-stage teams to get their systems right.
Leandro saved us from signing a six-figure ERP contract we absolutely did not need. He right-sized our stack, and we reinvested that budget straight back into product.
Our month-end close went from a two-week scramble to a few clean days. For the first time our board deck numbers actually matched the system of record.
He speaks founder, not consultant. Practical, sequenced advice on when to move off QuickBooks and what to move to. No jargon, no overselling.
Tell us where things feel messy, whether ERP, AI, or both, and we'll follow up with next steps.
